Do you have a special skill or just love to help out a good cause? There are plenty of ways to help! View our current areas of help below, then click the button to complete our volunteer form. Once completed, a member of our team will be in contact as soon as possible!

Areas Of Help

  • Responsibilities include helping set up and take down events as well as selling merchandise.

  • Long and short term. We cover all the costs associated with the dogs. Fosters are responsible for caring for the dogs in training, welcoming them into your home and treating them as if they were your own.

Short term fosters range from one day, weekends, up to two weeks. Long term depends on the dogs and Veteran needs. This can range from two weeks to months. Short term foster is available for times when long term fosters are not available or on vacation.

  • Our Veteran outreach department is charged with the task of reaching out to various Veteran organizations to promote our services and find at-risk Veterans. We have numerous volunteer opportunities in this area ranging form outreach coordinators to remote administrative help. This is the perfect opportunity for Veterans wanting to help other Veterans.

  • We are looking for lawn care (zero turn experience preferred) and general facility maintenance help.

  • Remote opportunity! The Grant Team at Dogs2DogTags is continually searching for partners to help us in our mission.

First, research is needed to determine what organization, corporation, foundation, or trust may be sympathetic to our cause. Secondly, a written proposal is submitted requesting financial support. Many organizations require very specific detail as to how approved funding would be spent and may even require subsequent reporting. All is necessary to maintain the sustainability of Dogs2DogTags, and to allow us to grow and continue Saving Our Vets One Dog at a Time.

  • Dogs2DogTags is currently searching for a counselor or psychiatrist who works with Veterans or non-Veterans suffering from PTSD. This volunteer would serve as an advisory member of our board of directors and provide social media ideas to help bring awareness to the struggles of PTSD and other combat related disorders.

  • General errands, like picking up items from local businesses. If volunteer is comfortable this could include dog transport to training, vet appointments and fosters etc.

  • Remote opportunity! This position includes updating calendars, setting up meetings, updating spreadsheets and sending out letters.
